DECATUR IL - A motorcycle rider was seriously hurt in a crash Monday morning, on Decatur east side. Police say the motorcyclist crashed about 11 this morning, at the intersection of 27^th Street and route 36. There is no word yet on why he crashed.

27^th Street closed for a few hours as police re-constructed the crash. Officers say the motorcyclist was seriously hurt.
