Construction Soon Underway for Urbana Pool - Wandtv.com, NewsCenter17, StormCenter17, Central Illinois News-

URBANA- The Urbana Park Board met on Tuesday to finalize construction plans for the $8.8 million outdoor aquatic center.

The board awarded a construction contract to Broeren Russo Construction. Under contract, the pool will include three alternative features- an enclosed water slide, irrigation system and streambed.

Superintendent of Recreation Corky Emberson says the center will also include a concession stand, diving board, vortex and other "unique" features.
