Woman attacked in University of Illinois Parking Garage

CHAMPAIGN IL – University of Illinois police are looking for a man who attacked a U of I employee in a campus parking garage, and stole her car early Thursday morning.

Officers say just after seven, the woman was walking down a side ramp in west campus parking deck on West University Avenue, when she was grabbed from behind. The attacker dragged her to a lower level. The suspect then rummaged through her purse, and was scared off by another vehicle. However, he did get away with the woman's keys, and stole her car.
