URBANA - Local agencies teamed up on Monday to provide information to Champaign County residents who lost their Medicaid and IL Cares RX benefits.
The Champaign County Health Care Consumers hosted its second Special Enrollment Event, this time at the Provena Covenant Medical Center Auditorium.
From 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. dozens of residents came out to learn more about their alternative health care options.
Organizer Nick Quealy-Gainer says these options include Federal aid and assistance from private organizations. Attendees were also able to meet with consultants to discuss alternative drug programs.
