DECATUR-A driver loses control of his car and crashes into a house on Decatur's north side this afternoon.
Police say just after one pm, 2013 Cadillac with only 17 miles on it crashed into a house on Nicklaus drive. The force of the car twisting a support beam, making the house structurally unsound.
The car veered off the road and broke through the fence, missing the in-ground pool by inches before plowing into the home.
The driver, an 84-year-old Forsyth man, was taken by ambulance to DMH with non-life threatening injuries.
No word on the cause of the accident.
