Georgetown Police Investigating Attempted Rapes


GEORGETOWN - Georgetown police say they're investigating a string of attempted rapes.

Police Chief Whitney Renaker says that in two weeks, three attempted rapes have been reported from seperate residences. There were no injuries or assualts.

In each case, the suspect entered the victim's home between 1:30 and 5 a.m. Police believe doors were unlocked at the time of entry.

Investigators say the cases are likely connected. They have one suspect and are processing an arrest warrant. A description has not been released at this time.
