Red Cross Assists in Decatur House Fire

DECATUR IL – American Red Cross is assisting in Decatur after a fire destroyed a family's home. Firefighters were called to a home in the one thousand block of West Cerro Gordo around 12:30 this morning.

The fire caused an estimated 30 thousand dollars in damage, and left the home uninhabitable. No one was hurt in the fire, and the Red Cross is providing shelter to two adults, a teenager, and seven Children.
