Springfield, IL - The American Red Cross Capital Area Chapter has decided to send one more volunteer to the South in advance of Tropical Storm Isaac. The local Red Cross says Springfield resident Linda Bradbury will head to Mississippi to work in community partnerships. She is the fourth volunteer to be deployed to help deal with the storm in just four days. The chapter's emergency response vehicle is being deployed to Alabama where it will distribute food, water, and supplies to people affected by the storm.
