DECATUR IL – City Council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 pm to learn the impact of this weekend's rain for Lake Decatur. Also on the agenda, Council members could vote to do a study to create a tax increment financing district in West Grand Avenue.
Decatur is working with a developer on a potential project on a vacant lot at the corner of Grand and Oakland. The developer would like the city's assistance through a TIF District.
The council is also expected to award a 1.7 million dollar contract to Otto Baum Company for the Central Park Streetscape Project.
