DECATUR- Pre-trial for a Central Illinois man accused of two murders and the attempted murder of another woman has been pushed back again. At the earliest pre-trial for Timothy Giles won't begin until mid-October. He's been in jail on multiple charges of murder since August of last year.
Timothy Giles is charged with the murders of Cindanett and Lindsey Eaton. He shares a child with Casey Eaton, who survived the attack at her Harristown home.
In a petition for an order of protection, which was granted, Casey Eaton writes Giles broke into the home she shared with her mother and sister. She says he imprisoned her 7-year-old daughter in a closet and then shot and stabbed her mother and sister to death. Then, she says, he shot and stabbed her in front of her infant daughter.
Giles is also accused of aggravated cruelty to animals. Court documents say he cut the family's Jack Russell terrier
Giles is also facing charges for allegedly hiring someone to kill Casey while he was behind bars.
He's in solitary confinement at the Macon County jail.
Katrina Giles, his sister, is also in jail for alleged involvement in the murders. She will not be back in court until the end of November.
Neither Giles has not been convicted of any of these crimes.
