Morrisonville IL – Long time weather
watcher Dorothy Bullard was awarded for her service on Wednesday.
Bullard received the
Edward H. Stroll award from the National Weather Service. It's given to weather
observers who complete 50 years of service.
A lot has changed in the
last 50 years "the first temperature gauge I had was the one.. now it just
seems like they're trying to make it easier on us" Bullard told WAND.
The weather service says
Dorothy Bullard and her family have provided the Lincoln office with weather data for more
than 18 thousand days.
