TAYLORVILLE -- It's illegal for store shelves, but kids are still finding ways to get high on K2 in Christian County.
K2 is a synthetic marijuana. Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp says some stores are still selling it illegally.
He's received several complaints about it recently, but says there's a challenge with these kinds of drug dealers in a small town.
"They will sell to people that they know, that they've been selling to for a long, long time," Kettelkamp said. "That's the only people that they will sell to."
Kettelkamp said they're investigating several incidents throughout the county.
Businesses that have been warned -- and still get caught selling K2 -- will get slapped with a Class Two felony. That's punishable by up to seven years in prison and a $1,000 fine.
