Champaign IL – A crash
sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday. The driver who caused the crash,
25 year old, Immanuel Williams was ticketed for DUI and running a red light.
First responders were
called to Prospect Avenue
and Bloomington Road
for a two car accident around 1:40PM Wednesday.
A police officer in the
area saw a Honda Civic speeding north on Prospect when it failed to stop at a
red light and hit another driver also in a Honda Civic, heading east on
Bloomington Road.
The collision caused one
of the cars to roll over. Both drivers were taken to Carle Hospital
for treatment of their injuries.
