CHAMPAIGN - A local organization needs your help to aid the homeless.
C-U at Home needs 100 volunteers to help conduct its second annual homeless survey. From October 22-26 the group needs people to help interview the homeless, take photographs and analyze data.
The purpose of the survey is to discover those who are most vulnerable. C-U at Home Executive Director Melany Jackson says their mission is to then support those individuals.
Volunteers can register at www.cuathome.us. Jackson asks that participants volunteer two hours of their time, in addition to attending a brief training session on October 21st.
