Jacksonville IL – The city of Jacksonville will build a new water treatment plant.

Alderman unanimously approved a 30 million dollar project to build the new plant. The current water plant has had on going problems including flooding that knocked the plant out of commission last year.

No timeline has been announced for building the new water plant.
