Rochester IL – Residents can learn more about the electric aggregation referendum they will vote on next month. An informational meeting will be held Thursday night at 7 at the Rochester Village Hall.
Aggregation allows cities, towns, and counties to negotiate electric rates. Those can negotiate rates with utilities for residents, small businesses, and individual customers can opt out.
Rochester is one of 60 area locations with electric aggregation on the ballot.
