DECATUR, IL-- The Decatur City Council may vote to drill four additional wells in order to provide additional water for Lake Decatur.
Two wells would pump water directly into Lake Decatur. The other two would pump water into a former gravel pit just west of the dam. The wells could produce as much as two million gallons of water per day.
Monday night the council could approve spending around 1.5 million dollars to build the wells.
