Stewardson IL – Voters in on Central Illinois town will cast a ballot for more then the next president. Stewardson in Shelby County will ask whether residents want to allow alcohol sales within village limits.
The town has been a dry community for years, but the wording on the liquor sales referendum is confusing. The questions on the ballot will ask, "Shall retail sale of liquor be prohibited in the Village of Stewardson?
If you want liquor sales you will vote no, and if you do not want liquor sales you will vote yes.
