DECATUR- Council voted Monday night on a new temporary water source:
four temporary emergency wells will be placed at locations on the south
end of the lake near the Lake Decatur dam. The price tag: just over one
point four million dollars.
The wells should help us in this
current drought, the first well to begin pumping water for our use in
just over two months. Though the wells are temporary, Water Manager
Keith Alexander hopes they can help in future.
