Mt. Zion IL – Business and community leaders spent Tuesday morning praying as part of a local initiative for growth.
The first annual Community Prayer Breakfast was held at the Mt. Zion Convention Center. Those who participated heard prayers from local church leaders.
President and CEO of St. Mary's Hospital, Kevin Kast said the community needs a sense of revival, "We think the entire community from time to time needs to have a revival. So that's what we are wanting to bring to this community, is a sense of revival. From our standpoint to come together as prayerful business people, prayerful business leaders to reflect on what's wonderful in our lives and reflect on those things that are challenging in our lives so we can advance in our lives."
Business leaders say it was an opportunity for everyone to come together for improvement and development.
