Cellini Sentence Could be in Fort Worth

Springfield IL – Convicted Springfield power broker William Cellini has a good idea about where he will serve his corruption sentence.

A federal judge agreed to recommend Cellini serve his one year term at a facility in either Montgomery, Alabama or Fort Worth, Texas. Cellini suffered heart problems earlier this year, and a defense filing said the Forth Worth facility is equipped to deal with his medical issues.

Cellini was convicted of trying to shake down a Hollywood producer for a donation to then Governor Rod Blagojevich's campaign.
