Court Approves to Hand Over Records

Lincoln IL – Defense attorneys were in court today, seeking the records of a murder victim.

Christopher Harris' attorney wants Dillen Constant's medical, school, and court records for their self-defense claim. Tuesday the court ordered that the documents be handed over for review.

Harris is accused of killing Rick Gee, Ruth Gee, and three of their kids in 2009. The defense claims Constant had a mental disorder which caused sever behavioral issues and uncontrolled anger, which led to violence.

Harris' attorney said Chris killed the 14 year old in self-defense, because Constant killed the other family members. Another hearing is set for November where a judge will determine if the defense can use the records.
