The sweep was done by more than half a dozen local agencies, including the Jacksonville Police Department. the Illinois State Police, and the Central Illinois Enforcement Group.

Police told WAND News in total 18 arrest warrants were issued for Thursdays arrests, however, two of the suspects were already in police custody.
Of the fourteen people arrested, ten were for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, three were arrested for unlawful delivery of marijuana, and one suspect was arrested for unlawful delivery of methamphetamines.
A Jacksonville police lieutenant told said that while Thursday bust was big, drugs are still making their way into Morgan County.

"It's a very successful day for us today.  We took in fourteen drug dealers off the streets, but there's 14 more that's going to replace them.  There's 14 more out there right now.  An increase in the heroin is coming back I would say, but pretty much a steady pace here in Morgan County," said lieutenant Rodney Cox.

Cox added that if anybody has any information on the whereabouts of the two remaining suspects to contact Morgan County Crimestoppers.
