Decatur IL – Police are investigating two armed robberies they believe are related.

Just before 8:30 on Monday night, a man robbed the Larry Paul Tanning Salon on Water Street, implying he had a gun. Police think it is related to another armed robbery, which happened Sunday to an employee at the Dollar General on Martin Luther King Drive.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue winter jacket with a white stripe on the sleeve. If you have any information please call Crimestoppers.
