
Since Hurricane Sandy blew through the east coast, Illinois transportation officials are now allowing larger loads on the roads.
If you're traveling for emergency relief, you can have loads up to 14-feet wide and 100-feet long.
The Illinois Transportation Secretary said, it applies to both state routes and interstates.
This temporary authorization lasts until November 30th.
