Two arrested after five residential burglaries


Champaign IL – Two subjects arrested after recent rash of residential burglaries in Savoy and Southwest Champaign.

Champaign County Sheriff's office and Champaign Police department believe Jermaine Johnson, of Tolono, and Mathew R Hall, of Champaign, are responsible for five residential burglaries. Several pieces of evidence from some of the burglaries have been collected linking the two to the crime.

Sheriff's Investigators and Champaign Detectives believe these two suspects may be responsible for several residential burglaries over the last couple of months. This investigation is ongoing and other arrests may be made.
