Tuscola IL –
Safe disposal for old or unsafe ammunition in Douglas County
starts this weekend.
The Douglas
County Sheriff's Office will hold a safe disposal for ammunition. Rifle, pistol
rounds, shotgun shells, and shot shell primers can be turned in to receive a
free gun lock.
To turn in
devices with blasting caps please make an arrangement ahead of time. The
disposal will run from 8 am to 9pm, Saturday November 17th through Saturday
November 24th. Drop off will be located at 920 South Washing Street in Tuscola.
