Local Adult Film Store, Church in Dispute

OAKWOOD - A small town church has denied donations from a nearby adult film store.

Joe Nunez, General Manager at the Oasis Adult Superstore says he had hoped to donate money and food to the Oakwood Christian Church's food bank but was turned away.

Pastor Dave Birch says the church cannot accept the donations based on its morals as a Christian institution.

Nunez says he plans to give away food items on the street beside the pantry on South Scott Street, Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 9 a.m.
