Decatur - Decatur Police & IDOT are on the scene of a deadly crash on Lake Shore Drive this evening. One person has reportedly died in the crash between Jasper & MLK.
A witness tells WAND News a First Student school bus was making a left turn on to Silas Street from Lake Shore when a pickup truck plowed into the rear end of the bus. The driver of the truck was removed from the vehicle, administered CPR and then taken to a nearby hospital. The witness states the truck did not break before hitting the bus. One student was reportedly on board the bus but was not injured.
A police fatal accident investigation is on the scene at this hour. WAND News will have video and more details tonight at 10pm.
