Urbana Begins Improvement Project - Wandtv.com, NewsCenter17, StormCenter17, Central Illinois News-

URBANA - A makeover for the city of Urbana is now underway.

On Wednesday afternoon city officials held a groundbreaking for the long-awaited Boneyard Creek Improvement Project.

To be completed in June 2014, the project will add a park and public-gathering center along the creek, with artwork and accent lighting.

Mayor Laurel Prussing says it will beautify as well as boost the downtown's economy.
