Auburn IL – A deadly crash happened Thursday morning involving a bicyclist.

State police say a 71 year old man from Taylorville was riding his bicycle on route 104 west of Auburn. A pick up truck hit the bicyclist from behind.

The man was taken to Springfield's Memorial Medical Center, where he died. Troopers are investigating, and charges are pending against the driver.
