It may not feel like it to some, but drivers are saving a few cents at the pump.

The average price of a gallon of gas has dropped seven cents over the past two weeks.

The Lundberg survey of fuel prices has the national average price for regular gas at $3.47 a gallon.

In Decatur, people are paying around $3.39 for regular gas. Drivers in Memphis are saving the most. They are paying $3.04. The highest average price was reported in hurricane-torn Long Island. The gas there averaged $4.18 a gallon.
