New Zealand-Based Women’s Health Expert Dr. Libby Weaver to Appear in Live Interview November 26, 2012
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 20, 2012
The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), the world’s largest nutrition school, is proud to announce that Dr. Libby Weaver and Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride have joined as guest speakers and will further boost the expanding global perspective of the curriculum of Integrative Nutrition’s flagship Health Coach Training Program.
Dr. Weaver, based in Auckland, New Zealand, is one of Australasia’s leading nutrition specialists and weight loss experts. Her best-selling books Accidentally Overweight and Rushing Woman’s Syndrome address the underlying biochemical and behavioral influences that are essential to long-term weight loss and sustainable health. Dr. Campbell-McBride is a British neurologist renowned for developing the Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) diet, an approach that seeks to heal digestive disorders by identifying and eliminating food sensitivities.
"I'm thrilled to partner with Integrative Nutrition as a guest speaker and extend the school's international reach," said Dr. Weaver. "I believe that Health Coaches play a crucial role in preventive healthcare worldwide – once people understand what drives their behaviors, they're able to make smarter and healthier choices. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and empowering the Integrative Nutrition community to continue doing this important work."
On Monday, November 26, 2012 at 5pm ET, Integrative Nutrition will host a live kick-off interview with Dr. Weaver where she will discuss women’s health issues and explore the connection between stress and weight gain and what you can do to prevent it.
Dr. Weaver and Dr. Campbell-McBride join Integrative Nutrition guest speaker Pierre Dukan, famed French nutritionist, as part of the school’s commitment to best serve its rapidly expanding international presence. The Integrative Nutrition community now includes over 30,000 students and graduates in 100 countries worldwide.
"Integrative Nutrition's growing international presence has never been more needed," said Dr. Dukan. "Modern medicine is an absolute failure when it comes to the obesity epidemic. I have spent my life fighting this disease created by our civilization that disables and kills people. As we are not able to change the population, we need to find case-by-case and individual solutions. By providing clients with personalized support and attention, Integrative Nutrition alumni can help us take serious steps towards reversing the obesity epidemic that is threatening so many societies. I'm honored to work with Integrative Nutrition in finding real solutions to these current global health trends."
“Food traditions vastly differ from one culture to the next, so just as we teach over 100 different dietary theories, we’re committed to diversifying our curriculum to address topics such as native cuisine and regional diets,” said Joshua Rosenthal, MScEd, Integrative Nutrition Founder, Director, and Primary Teacher. “I’m thrilled to welcome Dr. Weaver and Dr. Campbell-McBride to our team and look forward to expanding our international reach even more in the future.”
