People were lined up around Best Buy in Forsyth, waiting for the doors to open at midnight on Black Friday. The general manager said, most people had their eyes on certain hot selling items.
Bill Mauzy said, "the fastest thing we sold out was some 40 inch TV's that we had on a really hot price. After that, computers [and] tablets are really big items again this year."
As people shopped for their children on Black Friday, Batman Lego sets and motorized vehicles flew off the shelves at Target.
Aaron Rehberg, a manager at Decatur's Target said, "some of the dolls are very popular this year. . . In addition to that, the Easy Bake Oven is another hot seller."
Rehberg said, they plan two months ahead in preparation for Black Friday. They also cooked for team members that worked and could not make it home for thanksgiving dinner.
