WARRENSBURG- Local workers from the Warrensburg Tree Service Co. have returned home following weeks of power restoration work in Shelton, Connecticut.
Vice President Brandon Keppler left with 10 other workers in late October and returned home Nov. 11.
Keppler says they helped restore power to nearly 600,000 units.
While he says there were no deaths, utility workers faced gunfire from agitated residents.
He says many homes were destroyed by trees and water damage.
