Springfield IL – A two vehicle crash lands one man in the hospital.

The Illinois State Police are reporting that 20 year old Veronica Varga was driving on I-55 southbound, when another driver merged into her lane. Varga lost control and drove her jeep into a median overturning the vehicle.

Varga was not injured, but her passenger 21 year old Jock Jones was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Varga was issued a citation for improper lane usage.

No alcohol or reckless driving caused the crash.
