Sangamon County Sheriff will announce break in case in Mechanics - Wandtv.com, NewsCenter17, StormCenter17, Central Illinois News-

Mechanicsburg IL – In just a few hours the Sangamon County Sheriff, State's attorney and coroner will announce a major break in the case of an unidentified body found in rural Mechanicsburg on October 29^th.

Deputies say the crime scene was gruesome, and they previously were not able to identify the body. The body was found nude and dumped on the side of the rural county road.

Police told us the body was likely dumped there and they were not sure how long it was there before being discovered.
