FAIRMOUNT -- Double check your Powerball tickets. As of Thursday afternoon, a $1 million jackpot still hasn't been claimed in Central Illinois.
The winning ticket was sold the Casey's General Store on Main St. in Fairmount -- a rural village in Vermilion County.
Store manager Janet Jackson told WAND that most their customers are regulars, so the winner is likely someone living within a few miles of Fairmount.
"They're all very anxious, checking their tickets. And they're all waiting to find out who won...and hoping it's a good friend of theirs," Jackson said.
The $1 million tickets matched all 5 white balls, but not the Powerball. The winning numbers are 5, 16, 22, 23 and 29.
