SPRINGFIELD, IL- It is flu season and state health officials are urging Illinois residents to get flu shots.
This is some serious business they are handling for the start of National Influenza Vaccination Week.
The Illinois Department of Public Health director said, Flu season usually runs from October to May, with the spike around January.
Anyone older than six months should get vaccinated, according to the Department of Public Health.
