Springfield Airport Ranked Fourth in the State

Springfield IL – The Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport is ranked for their economic impact for the state.

Illinois Department of Transportation says the Springfield Airport brought in 48 hundred jobs and more than two hundred millions dollars in payroll in 2010. It is the largest economic spin off for downstate commercial airports.

The airport is ranked fourth overall in the state, after O-Hare, Midway, and Rockford International.
