Decatur Light Display Raising Money for Special Olympics

Posted:

Decatur - During the day Tim Hoffman's house looks like any other house, but by night it turns into a music and light magic show.

With the help of over 10,000 Christmas lights, and by turning your car's radio to 107.7 on the FM dial, you'll have a free Christmas concert with one very entertaining light show.

It's all for a good cause, too.  Owner and creator of the Lakeshore Illumination, Tim Hoffman, told WAND News they will continue to accept donations for the Illinois Special Olympics throughout the holiday season.

So far he and his family have helped raise over $100 dollars already.

The display is located at 185 N. Lake Shore Drive
