Clinton IL – New jobs are on their way to Central Illinois.

Syngenta in Clinton held a ground breaking for their new corn and soybean research and development center. Construction will begin this month, and is expected to be complete by the middle of next year.

Syngenta Site Manager, Nelson Thorp expects a substantial increase in employees. "We are going to have an increase about 20 percent full time employee staff once expansion is complete."

 Once the construction is complete Clinton will be Syngenta's largest corn and soybean training site in the US.
