Party ends with two victims stabbed


Charleston IL – The Charleston Police are investigating a stabbing at a party on Sunday.


Police and Charleston Ambulance Service responded to the 1000 block of 4th Street to a party of 100 people. A fight broke out involving numerous people.


Officers spoke with an EIU student and football player who reported he had been stabbed. Officers arrived at SBLHC, and discovered a second victim, another EIU student, who had been stabbed. The suspect is described as a black male with dreadlocks, approximately 5'7", weighing 190 pounds, with a muscular build.


The Charleston Police are asking for help locating the suspect.
