Woman Shot in Sangamon Co.

A woman was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a bullet in Sangamon County Saturday.

Captain Joe Roesch of investigations said, it happened on the 500 block of North Street.

Several people were riding in a car, when a woman was shot, Captain Roesch added.

She was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sangamon County Sheriff's Detectives do not have anyone in custody at this time.
