Church Feeds Hundreds on Christmas

CHAMPAIGN - A local church provided a meal for hundreds on Christmas.

The First Christian Church's third annual Community Christmas dinner fed those who would either be alone on the holiday or without means to prepare a meal.

Committee member Lynn Ullestad said 450 people made reservations, up from 324 who were served last year.

Food is donated by community members and local businesses.
