Suspect at Large in Hardees Armed Robbery


Two suspects robbed Hardees Restaurant in Champaign and attempted to get away with the crime.

Champaign police said, they were called to Hardees off Bradley Avenue and caught Larry Pettigrew, 23, fleeing the scene with another individual.

An officer grabbed Pettigrew, but could not catch both suspects.

Police said, Pettigrew was armed with a gun. However, no shots were fired and no one was hurt.

The second suspect is at large.
