Update: CHAMPAIGN- Police have released the name of two people found in a shooting incident on Monday.
Shortly before 6:30 am, Champaign police were called to a home on the 1500 block of Honeysuckle Lane.
There they found Jason Woods, 37, and Emily Davis, 34, with injuries sustained from a shooting. Police said, Woods was pronounced dead at the scene. Davis was transported to Carle Hospital and later pronounced dead.
Police said, three children, ages 12, 10 and three months were taken from the home. Lt. Robert Rea said, they are now in safe hands with family.
