SPRINGFIELD - Police are investigating a homicide that took place early Wednesday morning in the 1900 block of East Cedar Street.

Around 4:45 AM, police found Deshawn Jones, 24, at his home. Police said, Jones was shot and was pronounced dead shortly after 8:00 AM.
