Hundreds of women are getting ready for that special day.

People near and far traveled to Champaign for the Elegant Bridal Expo.

There they booked services and watched a show just for the bides-to-be.

Ashley Plunkette, the show producer said, "a lot of brides get engaged around the holidays, so they are starting their wedding planning, so it's a good thing to have a place where they can come for all their needs."

The show will head to Springfield Sunday, January 13, 2013.
