Springfield – Crime Stoppers of Sangamon County was on target with arrests last year.

Officers say more than 870 tips were called into Crime Stoppers in Sangamon and Menard Counties. Those tips resulted in more than 100 arrests, numbers that have stayed about the same over the past few years, according to police.
